Massive clashes erupted after Government Forces laid a siege around Monghama village in South Kashmir's Pulwama district this afternoon. Reports said that Government Forces Cordoned off Monghama village adjacent to Sirnoo hamlet, the native place of Hizb militant commander Zahoor Ahmed after receiving inputs about the presence of militants. As the Government Forces started search operation, a large number of youth hit to roads and pelted stones on them. The Government Forces responded with tear smoke shelling. The clashes were going on till the filing of this report.
